Then, use one cotton swab to spread the super glue in the crack, and another swab to clean the excess glue. In case you spill the glue on the wrong area, you can clean it using the glue remover.
DIY Solution
This method works perfectly on minor cracks. To repair the windshield using the DIY solution, you require the following:
- Sponge
- Rubbing bowl
- Water – ½ cup
- Bug spray – 1 teaspoon
- Rubbing alcohol – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – 1 tablespoon
Mix the water, bug spray, salt, and rubbing alcohol in a bowl. Dip the sponge into the solution and then apply the soliton along the chip or crack. Allow the solution to dry for at least two hours. Then, check to see if the crack or chip is visible after the two hours. Repeat the process until the chip or crack disappears.
